Coopers enters the ginger beer category

Australia’s largest independent brewery, Coopers, has entered the popular ginger beer category, with the launch of its first Ginger Beer.
Naturally brewed with real ginger, Coopers describes its new beer as “a crisp tasty beverage with zesty citrus and bold ginger spice aromas coupled with malt flavours”.
“This isn’t an RTD dressed up to look like a ginger beer, it’s the real deal,” Coopers Brewery Managing Director Michael Shearer said.
“Using real ginger, no artificial flavours, and brewed traditionally like a beer, it balances sweetness and ginger heat for ultimate drinkability.
“The result is a well-rounded, easy-drinking and refreshing ginger beer with authentic malt flavours and finished off with a spicy kick.
“Ginger beer has strong appeal among beer drinkers in Australia and particularly among those under 35 years of age. Our drinkers have been requesting one from Coopers for some time and we’re proud to deliver a great tasting alcoholic ginger beer that meets our high quality standards and style.
