Venues ready for Champagne Day 2026

Hotels, restaurants and bars across Australia are preparing to celebrate Champagne Day on Friday, 23 October, with a growing program of events planned around the country.
The annual international celebration of Champagne will see venues hosting a range of activities, including long lunches, Champagne dinners, masterclasses, guided tastings and special food and wine pairings.
The official Champagne Day 2026 calendar is now live, with events registered across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and other locations, and further additions expected ahead of Friday’s celebrations.
Champagne Bureau Australia Director John Noble said the occasion offered venues and consumers an opportunity to enjoy Champagne in a variety of settings.
“Champagne Day doesn’t need to be complicated,” Noble said.
“It is a day that is easy to enjoy. It might be a long lunch, a glass of Champagne at the end of the day or a Champagne dinner with friends – all you need is Champagne.”
