Donegan to take on CEO role at IMRO
Following a competitive external recruitment process, the board of the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) has appointed Seán Donegan as chief executive officer in place of Victor Finn. He will take up his new post in 2027. Donegan has experience in music rights management, commercial strategy and organisational leadership with IMRO .
He has worked as IMRO’s chief commercial officer since 2022, where he led commercial and marketing initiatives, the development of new international licensing deals and a revamp of the company’s commercial operating model. The work has attracted new members and helped drive revenue growth to record levels of €57.1 million in 2025.
Donegan will take up his new role in July next year.
