WHICH SERVICES ARE COVERED?
Emergency Medical Assistance
If the Insured experiences a sudden health issue while traveling in Georgia, an emergency medical team will arrive, provide on-site care, and, if necessary, transport the Insured to a clinic, with costs covered by the policy.
Urgent Outpatient Care
If the Insured’s health suddenly deteriorates during the trip and clinic treatment becomes necessary, the policy covers doctor consultations, tests, and medication costs.
Emergency Hospitalization
If, during the policy period in Georgia, the Insured’s health unexpectedly worsens requiring urgent hospitalization, the policy covers treatment, surgery, and necessary medication costs.
Urgent Dental Care
The policy covers the costs of urgent dental procedures while in Georgia.
Repatriation
For foreign citizens temporarily staying and/or traveling in the territory of Georgia, in the event of the insured person’s death as a result of an accident or sudden illness during the policy period, the insurance will cover the costs of repatriation of the body to Tbilisi International Airport within the limits specified in the insurance policy.

The Tourist Mandatory insurance policy is available to foreign citizens temporarily staying in the territory of Georgia for business or tourist purposes.
Since when and why is this policy mandatory?
Starting January 1, 2026, mandatory insurance for tourists visiting Georgia comes into force. From this date, foreign citizens entering Georgia are required to have health and accident insurance as a mandatory condition for entry.
This new regulation aims to protect tourists while also ensuring the financial sustainability of the healthcare system. Previously, travel insurance for foreign visitors was optional. Today, however, a valid insurance policy is a prerequisite for entering Georgia.
