BUT made an impression at Gaudeam Brno with its technologies and student projects!

Record attendance, hundreds of exhibitors and a wide range of study opportunities. That was this year’s Gaudeamus Brno higher education fair, held last week at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Brno University of Technology showcased its study programmes, student teams and a variety of technological projects. The university’s stand also won joint third place in the competition for the best exhibition stand.

BUT showcased a unique exhibition. | Author: Václav Koníček Questions about studying, admissions and student life were answered by current students and university ambassadors, who shared their personal experiences with prospective applicants and offered an authentic insight into studying and everyday life at BUT .

Another highlight of the BUT stand was the extensive Science for Life programme , demonstrating that studying at BUT is not just about theory but, above all, about opportunities to bring your own ideas to life. Visitors could explore a student-built racing car, aerial and underwater drones, a model aircraft, robotic technologies and space research projects, as well as try out interactive experiments themselves. A robotic bartender serving refreshments was another popular attraction!
