'Global Nutrition Program' Monitoring
The goal of this project was to gather data and analyse impact of the school support program, implemented by Mercy Corps International (MCI) in Kyrgyzstan. This program was funded by US Department of Agriculture (USDA) under the Global Food for Education Initiative (GFEI). Public Association Counterpart Sheriktesh monitored and evaluated situation in 60 educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan, in which the USDA/GFEI program on commodity support for education was implemented. Of this number, 20 schools were directly supported with commodities and 20 schools were involved in the grant program.
