MISC FOOD INDUSTRY WORKSHOP
Thursday, 22 January 2026 - The Manpower Industry Steering Committee (MISC) for the Food Industry, co-led by Persatuan Peladang Pertanian Brunei (PPPB), organised the Food Industry Opportunity Framing Workshop at Dewan Setia Pahlawan, Kementerian Sumber-Sumber Utama dan Pelancongan. The workshop brought together representatives from relevant government agencies, higher education institutions, and industry players to strengthen collaboration and coordination in developing a skilled and future-ready workforce for the food industry.
The workshop aimed to align stakeholders on the Food Industry Manpower Competence Development Roadmap and to discuss Competency Development Programmes for food-related industries, namely Agriculture, Livestock, Agri-food, and Fisheries. It also served as a platform to identify key challenges, emerging opportunities, and priority job roles across the food value chain.
