Greenhouses & Green Financing – A Story of Transformation through Islamic Finance
Asadullah Moradi, one of our hardworking farmers and a successful client of OXUS Afghanistan, faced serious financial challenges in maintaining and expanding his greenhouse farming activities.
Through the support of Islamic financial services (Murabaha) offered by OXUS Afghanistan, he was able to purchase essential equipment and scale up his operations. This financial backing became a turning point for his business—transforming it from just 4 greenhouses to over 45 today.
But his success didn’t stop there. Asadullah has now created job opportunities for others in his community, including widows and orphans, proving how ethical and timely financing can lead to sustainable development, economic empowerment, and real social change.
