OCMT Design Department Organizes a Field Trip to Urban October

The Design Department at Oman College of Management and Technology (OCMT) organized an educational field trip for its students to Urban October 2026, held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 October 2026.

The visit gave students the opportunity to explore urban planning and sustainable development concepts, discover innovative urban design ideas and emerging trends in the built environment, analyze the relationship between architecture, interior design, and public spaces, and understand how environmental, social, and cultural considerations are integrated into design.

The field trip reflects the College’s commitment to experiential learning and practical engagement, strengthening students’ observation, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world design contexts in support of their academic and professional development.
