Brief Introduction

The Department of Paediatrics at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for children in the country, consisting of a 199-bedded facitity to include a Neonatal Unit, a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, High Dependency Unit, Haemato-Oncology ward and 3 general wards.

The Department of Paediatrics was established in 1978. Over the years, the Department of Paediatrics has advanced significantly whereby subspecialisation in Paediatrics care has been established over the years in stages and new subspecialties continue to be explored in our effort to ensure the children of Brunei Darussalam enjoy the best and most updated treatment and care modalities.
