The Kiribati Postal Services of MICT wishes to advise all customers that with immediate effect, all mail and parcels addressed to be delivered in the United States of America are suspended until further notice.
This follows the recent US Executive Order removing the duty exemption for products valued under USD 800.00, which has resulted in our partner airline and postal operators ceasing acceptance of mail items containing goods bound for the USA and its territories until an approved duty collection system is in place.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the short notice. We will continue to provide updates and notify you as soon as services are able to resume.
