Media Council announces PNG Media Summit Sponsors

PORT MORESBY, 24 April, 2026 - The 2026 PNG Media Summit has received a significant boost with the announcement of major corporate and government sponsorship.
Organised by Women in Media PNG (WiMPNG), to commemorate World Press Freedom Day on May 3), the event is set for Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Crown Hotel in Port Moresby.
The event has secured a powerhouse line-up of sponsors dedicated to regional transparency and media development in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific:
· Platinum Sponsor: Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (KMHL)（https://kumulminerals.com.pg/） has stepped in as the lead partner, signalling the private sector’s commitment to a free and fair media environment.
· Gold Sponsor: The PNG Chamber of Resources and Energy (PNGCORE)（https://pngcore.org/）have come on board as Gold Sponsor.
