The Liberia Academy of Sciences (LAS) supported the 2026 International Conference on the Industry–Academia–Research Collaboration and Application of Advanced Functional Materials , held from 10 to 12 September 2026 at Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT) in Wuhan, China.
The conference brought together scholars, researchers and industry representatives from China and several other countries to exchange perspectives on advanced functional materials, scientific innovation, technology transfer and industry–academia–research collaboration. LAS participated as an international supporting organization, contributing to the international dimension of the conference and the development of academic connections between Africa, China and the wider scientific community.
