Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC strives to ensure sustainable development through balanced management of the economic, environmental, and social aspects of its operations.
Our Approach to Sustainable Development
We have identified sustainable development as one of the priority areas of our activities and have recorded this approach in the Development Strategy.
We strive to integrate sustainable development principles into key business processes, management decisions and the implementation of housing programs. For us, sustainable development is the basis for increasing transparency and creating long-term value for society and the state.
The implementation of our strategic objectives is aimed at creating an effective management system, improving ESG indicators, strengthening interaction with stakeholders and the consistent implementation of climate and social initiatives.
A Sustainable Development Policy has been approved at KHC JSC. Its provisions are subject to compliance by all employees of the Company insofar as they affect interaction with stakeholders, when planning and implementing their activities, developing internal documents, disseminating information, and in other types of communication.

In 2025, the Company acquired bonds of local executive bodies to finance the construction of affordable housing in the regions for a total amount of KZT 407,7 billion, including:
KZT 140,2 billion for the construction of credit housing;
KZT 150,4 billion for the acquisition of rental housing;
KZT 25 billion for renovation.

KZT 140,2 billion for the construction of credit housing;
KZT 150,4 billion for the acquisition of rental housing;
for the construction of engineering and utility infrastructure – 87,8 billion KZT
for the modernization of the energy and utilities sectors – 29,3 billion KZT
As a result of redeeming bonds of local executive bodies, 22 751 apartments were commissioned.
Guarantees were issued for a total amount of KZT 277,1 billion. Through these guarantees, 7,194 apartments were commissioned.
A total of 420 apartments were provided under a rent-to-own scheme for KZT 6,9 billion, of which 414 apartments were allocated to individuals on the waiting list of local executive bodies and 6 apartments to other categories of citizens.
Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Policy, in order to improve the living conditions of Kazakhstan’s population, the Company seeks to introduce the Urban Environment Quality Index in all regions of Kazakhstan.
