Environmental Health & Food Safety Program

Vision:

A National Environmental Health Program contributing to healthy people and resilience communities in FSM through safe, healthy and sustainable food and drinking-water supplies and living conditions.

Mission:

To protect and promote the health of all people and resiliency of communities in FSM through coordination and implementation of effective and sustainable strategies, programs, projects and activities that improve safety and quality of food and drinking water, and reduce the adverse impacts of environmental conditions in partnership with State counterparts, taking into consideration resource availability and social and cultural factors.
