Quantum technologies in science and defence. Brno University of Technology hosts Quantum Day 2026
On Wednesday 25 November 2026 , the 4th annual Quantum Day 2026（https://fit.cvut.cz/cs/zivot-na-fit/aktualne/udalosti/26018-quantum-day-2026） conference will take place in the Professor Brauner Auditorium at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEKT), Brno University of Technology (VUT). The event will bring together representatives from academia, research organisations, industry and government, and will provide a forum for sharing experiences and discussing the future of quantum technologies in the Czech Republic.
This year’s event will focus primarily on the dual-use potential of quantum technologies in the civilian and defence sectors (Advancing Dual-Use Capabilities). Participants will learn about the latest developments in the Czech quantum ecosystem, ongoing research projects and practical applications of quantum technologies.
The programme will feature, for example, talks on quantum and hybrid computing, post-quantum cryptography, quantum sensors and secure communication.
