The Bahrain National Cricket Team delivered an exceptional performance against Mongolia, securing a commanding eight-wicket victory in Match 15 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2026, held at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After electing to field first, Bahrain produced a remarkable bowling display, restricting Mongolia to just 17 runs in 12.4 overs . The disciplined bowling attack maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings, giving Mongolia little opportunity to build partnerships or establish momentum.
The standout performer was Ali Dawood , whose extraordinary bowling spell proved decisive. Dawood claimed an impressive five wickets for just five runs in four overs , dismantling Mongolia’s batting lineup and earning the well-deserved Player of the Match award.
His outstanding figures highlighted Bahrain’s bowling strength, precision and ability to execute under competitive international conditions.
