Since February 2024, CSSP in partnership with the Centre of Integrated Legal Services and Practices (CILSP) and in association with the National Chamber of Mediators (NCM), and the Free Legal Aid Directory is implementing the project “Supporting citizens’ access to justice through mediation in Albania”. This project is funded by European Union. The project aims at contributing to improve the capacity building of mediators, supporting the NCM’s training efforts, to promote the use of mediation with different stakeholders and strengthening the capacities of free legal aid providers in referring cases to mediation

Ne 29 dhe 30 shtator 2026, zhvilluam takimet e fundit koordinuese në kuadër të projektit “Drejtësi nëpërmjet Ndërmjetësimit” pranë Dhomës Kombëtare të Ndërmjetësimit, me pjesëmarrjen e ndërmjetësve dhe aktorëve të angazhuar në zbatimin e projektit.
Gjatë takimit u diskutuan arritjet e deritanishme, sfidat e hasura dhe hapat e mëtejshëm për forcimin e rolit të ndërmjetësimit si një mekanizëm efektiv për zgjidhjen paqësore të mosmarrëveshjeve. Takimi shërbeu gjithashtu si një hapësirë e vlefshme për shkëmbimin
e përvojave dhe koordinimin e veprimeve në funksion të rritjes së aksesit në drejtësi për qytetarët

Me 15 shtator zhvlluam disa takime koordinuese ne Berat me perfaqesues te sherbimeve sociale, oficere sigurie, psikologe dhe ndermjetes, per te promovuar aksesin ne sherbimin e ndermjetesimit per kategorite vulnerabel me nje fokus te vecante tek femijet e te rinjte. Në fokus të bisedës ishte edhe perceptimi per ndermjetesimin dhe nevoja per me shume informacion dhe trajnime per perdorimin e ndermjetesimit

"Dita e Hapur e Ndërmjetësimit për të Rinjtë – Zëri i të Rinjve për Dialog dhe Paqe”
Në 21 korrik u bashkuam me energjinë e të rinjve me fuqinë e zgjidhjes alternative të konflikteve në një aktivitet dinamik dhe plot vlerë!
Aktivitietit iu bashkuan të rinj entuziastë për të eksploruar rrugët e paqes, komunikimit dhe mirëkuptimit.
Aktiviteti nisi me mesazhe të rëndësishme dhe mbështetje maksimale:
• Fjala përshëndetëse u mbajt nga Kryetarja e Dhomës së Ndërmjetësve, e cila vlerësoi rolin e brezit të ri në përhapjen e kulturës së ndërmjetësimit.
• Drejtoresha e Qendrës së Parandalimit të Krimit të të Miturve dhe të Rinjve (QPKMR) ndau mesazhe të vyera mbi rëndësinë e parandalimit dhe zgjidhjes alternative të konflikteve. Ajo vuri theksin te rëndësia e të kuptuarit të perspektivës së tjetrit si hap drejt paqes, duke nënvizuar se procese të tilla rrisin besimin e të rinjve te institucionet.
Gjatë këtij "Open Day", të rinjtë u përfshinë në tre momente kyçe:
• Leksion Interaktiv: Mësuam mbi bazat e ndërmjetësimit dhe se si komunikimi efektiv ndryshon çdo situatë.
• Sensibilizim: U shfaqën videot ndërgjegjësuese të realizuara nga QPKMR, të cilat nxitën diskutime mjaft interesante
• Terapi Arti: Zhvilluam një punëtori unike të bazuar te terapia e artit, ku të rinjtë shprehën emocionet dhe konceptet e tyre për paqen në mënyrë kreative.
Faleminderit të gjithë pjesëmarrësve dhe partnerëve për këtë ditë kaq produktive! Besojmë fort se duke edukuar të rinjtë sot, ndërtojmë një të nesërme më të sigurt dhe më paqësore.

Më 3 qershor 2026, në Vlorë u organizua workshopi “ Mbi mekanizimin e referimit të rasteve në ndërmjetësim me ofruesit e ndihmës juridike falas të qarkut Vlorë ”
* Aktiviteti pati në fokus forcimin e bashkëpunimit ndërmjet qendrave të ndihmës juridike falas dhe ndërmjetësve, duke theksuar rëndësinë e referimit të rasteve tek ndërmjetësimi si një rrugë efektive dhe e aksesueshme për zgjidhjen e mosmarrëveshjeve.
* Gjatë seminarit u prezantua edhe një video e mbështetur nga projekti si një bashkëpunim midis Dhomës Kombëtare të Ndërmjetësve dhe Drejtorisë së Ndihmës Juridike Falas. Kjo video synon të promovojë më tej mekanizmat e referimit drejt ndërmjetësimit, veçanërisht tek aktorët e drejtësisë dhe ofruesit e ndihmës juridike falas, në një mënyrë didaktike, të aksesueshme dhe inovative

Sot me 2 qershor 2026, zhvlluam nje takim koordinues me avokate dhe ndermjetes nga qyteti i Vlores, për të ndarë sfidat dhe nevojat që kanë ndërmjetësit me qëllim ofrimin e një shërbimi sa më cilësor dhe profesional.
Në fokus të bisedës ishte edhe perceptimi i qytetareve per ndermjetesimin dhe nevoja per me shume informacion dhe aktivitete ndergjegjesuese ne komunitet per avantazhet e ndermjetesimit.

Pas muajsh trajnimi dhe mentorimi intensiv, me 17 mars 2026 me shume emocione festuam përfundimin me sukses të aktivitetit me një grup të rinjsh plot energji dhe deshire per ndryshim. Pjesëmarrësit tanë pervetesuan aftësi ne ndërmjetësim, duke zotëruar artin e dialogut, empatisë dhe zgjidhjes së konflikteve.
Përtej trajnimit, këta të rinj i kanalizuan aftësitë e tyre të reja në produkte krijuese te shkruara dhe audio-vizuale.
Prania e Zëvendësministres së Drejtësisë Znj. ELONA HOXHA dhe fjalimi i saj frymëzues theksuan edhe nje here rolin e ndërmjetësimit dhe dialogut të udhëhequr nga të rinjtë.

On 19 December 2025, we had a workshop hosted by the National Chamber of Mediators and the Directory of Free Legal Aid.
The workshop brought together Free legal aid providers and mediators to promote mediation as a vital alternative for resolving conflicts within the legal aid community. Discussion on effective mediation techniques, sharing best practices and enhancing collaboration took place in this workshop. The main technical discussion centered on the necessities for legal amendments to incorporate mediation into the framework of free legal aid services.

On November 14th, 2025, we held an inspiring activity in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lezha,
where businesses from different sectors of the Lezha Region participated.
During the discussions, the daily challenges and conflicts faced by businesses were addressed, as well as the role of mediation
as a fast, practical and extrajudicial tool for their resolution.
The activity was crowned with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the National Chamber of Mediators and the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Lezha, further strengthening cooperation in supporting local businesses.
An important step towards more efficient and sustainable solutions!

On November 6, 2025, we launched a new activity aimed at promoting mediation with high school youth in Tirana.
Our goal is for young people themselves to bring creative ideas on how they conceive of conflict and how they can resolve it peacefully, through concrete ideas and examples.
Working with young people is always a special pleasure and inspiration
We strongly believe that they are the future and the power of communication, peaceful dialogue and resolution through mediation.

Moments from coordination meetings on October 10th, 2025,
on the promotion of mediation in the city of Lezha in the premises
of the free legal aid office in this municipality.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the mediation office in Lezha and the free legal aid office to get closer to groups in need and for a faster legal solution thanks to mediation.
As part of this activity, a positive meeting was also held with the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lezha,
a meeting which we hope will be consolidated with an activity, where the businesses of this city will participate.

On September 11th, 2025, we organized in the Municipality of Përmet, in cooperation with the Free Legal Aid Office of this Municipality,
a seminar on the referral of cases to #mediation by #free #legal aid service providers.
This roundtable brought together various representatives at the local level and legal professionals with whom we had a concrete discussion on the cases that can be referred to mediation and the benefits that mediation brings not only in resolving the case for the parties involved but also in the dimension of social peace in the community.
The meeting was very useful in creating new synergies of cooperation between the Chamber of Mediators and Free Legal Aid providers in Përmet but also in Gjirokastër where the project has engaged a mediator in support of groups in need.

Another coordination meeting was held today in Korce, with business employees who informed about the advantages of mediation.
There was high interest among the participants regarding the concept of mediation and the areas of mediation application.
The project continues to inform stakeholders and community members about mediation and the criteria for accessing this service.
These coordination meetings continue to be organized on monthly basis by the project staff with the aim of promoting mediation, but also consulting with stakeholders on the needs of different target groups in order to respond to them with relevant activities

On 7 July, 2025, National Chamber of Mediators organized an event for the National Day of Mediation.
This day highlights the vital role of mediation in fostering peace, understanding, and resolution within our society.
Mediation is not just a process; it's a pathway to harmonious living. It enables individuals and communities to communicate effectively, resolve disputes amicably, and strengthen our social fabric.
We were honored to have distinguished speakers at the event, who emphasized the potential of mediation and their commitment to support and promote mediation as a means of conflict resolution.
Their insights underscored how mediation serves as a fundamental tool in promoting justice, tolerance, and community cohesion.
By embracing mediation, we can build a more harmonious society where disputes are resolved through dialogue and understanding.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, we organized the seminar "Mediation in the context of administrative law" in cooperation with the Administrative Court of First Instance of Lushnje. This activity was special, as for the first time a concrete discussion took place on the possibilities of resolving administrative conflicts through mediation, as well as the cases that judges can refer to mediation, illustrated with the best practices of European Union countries and CEPEJ recommendations.
This innovative approach aims to streamline the mediation process, ensuring that individuals have access to alternative dispute resolution methods right from the court. By fostering this approach, we are committed to creating a more supportive and responsive legal environment.
This acitivity was supported from the project “Supporting Citizens’ access to justice through mediation in Albania” implemented from CSSP Mediation Albania in partnership with QSHPLI - Qendra e Shërbimeve dhe Praktikave Ligjore të Integruara, with Dhoma Kombetare e Ndermjetesimit and Drejtoria e Ndihmës Juridike Falas supported by European Union

On 20 June, 2025, we had an enlightening workshop focused on promoting referral mechanisms for mediation, specifically tailored for vulnerable groups in our community in collaboration with free legal aid providers in Kukes district .
This session was a significant step forward in addressing local challenges and ensuring equitable access to justice in Kukes district.
