WHAT TO EXPECT ?
How you experience life as a volunteer with Bolivia Digna will be different for each person and will very much depend on how much time you are able to spend here, what choices you make while you are here, what experience you bring and what preconceptions and expectations you have.
We can promise you that it will not be what you are expecting, whatever that is! Come with an open mind and a positive attitude and we can also promise that it will be intense, fun, stressful, exhausting, at times frustrating, emotionally challenging, but overall very rewarding.

Why volunteer with Bolivia Digna?
We have been working in communities in Cochabamba since 2006. As a result, we have a lot of experience in education and child protection. Since 2006, we have developed our activities and partnerships with both local and international organizations. When you volunteer in Bolivia Digna, you are part of the team and participate in our daily work, you learn how the communities in which we work really live and their culture. As we are a small team, you will be able to take initiatives and change children's lives.

About Bolivia and Cochabamba
We have volunteering opportunities in Cochabamba, Oruro and Santa Cruz. Bolivia, officially called the Plurinational State of Bolivia, is a country bordering with Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay. The Republic has more than 10,500,000 inhabitants with about 53% of its population living in poverty. Bolivia has the highest proportion of indigenous people in Latin America. Located in the centre of Bolivia, Cochabamba is known as "the city of eternal spring" and "the garden city". It is almost always hot, dry and sunny and there are many parks, squares and flower avenues. It is also Bolivia's paradise with a wide choice of local, national and international dishes gastronomic in low-cost restaurants.
The Volunteer Houses
