Bahrain Insurance Association Concludes AGM and EGM
The Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA) conducted its Annual General Meeting
(AGM) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 29th March 2026
Commenting on the milestone, Dr. Abdulla Sultan, Chairman of the Bahrain
Insurance Association , said:
“2025 has been a remarkable year for the Bahrain Insurance Association and the
insurance market as a whole. We have witnessed significant progress driven by the
collective efforts of our committees, whose dedication has played a key role in
enhancing the industry. From the development of new insurance products to
strengthened coordination with governmental entities and close collaboration with the
Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), the Association continues to support initiatives around
both existing and prospective compulsory insurance products. This level of alignment
demonstrates the strength of our unified vision for the sector.”
The meetings also highlighted the Association’s continued commitment to supporting
regulatory alignment, market development, and innovation within the insurance
ecosystem.
