About LPVAD
A dedicated facility for livestock product value addition
The Livestock Products Value Addition Division (LPVAD) is located at Serbithang, Thimphu , approximately 15 kilometers from Thimphu .
The establishment of LPVAD commenced in 2014 and was completed in 2016 . The facility was handed over to the Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Limited (BLDCL) in October 2017 .
LPVAD provides facilities for the value addition of domestically produced livestock products, supporting product diversification and improved utilization of locally produced livestock products.

To support the livestock value chain by transforming domestically produced livestock products into quality, convenient and market-oriented value-added products.

From establishment to BLDCL
The development of LPVAD reflects Bhutan's continued efforts to strengthen livestock product processing and value addition.
2014
Establishment Commenced
The establishment of the Livestock Products Value Addition Division commenced.

The LPVAD facility was completed and prepared for livestock product value addition activities.
