Summary The Department of General Surgery and Endo-urology at AMC provides advanced surgical care using modern techniques and minimally invasive approaches. The department is equipped with advanced laparoscopic technology for both simple and complex surgical procedures, ensuring better outcomes, reduced pain, and faster recovery for patients. Laparoscopy is a technique that examines the abdominal organs using a long, thin tube and a camera with a high intensity and high resolution. A cut in the abdominal wall is used to implant the tool and a small camera that transmits pictures to a video monitor while it is in motion. It is frequently employed in procedures involving the gallbladder, liver, pancreas, small and large intestines (colon), Appendix, spleen, stomach, Esophagus, Kidneys, pelvis, or reproductive organs.
